Happy
Holidays 2008!
It is that time of year again for fun, frivolity and a quick catch up of the Cheatham Family.
Let us start with the youngest first. Kupferkessel, our copper kettle springer spaniel, was the new addition to the family this year. He just
turned one year old and loves to run, play with ballons and chase wubbas (when not chasing his sister, Hera).
Doug is now 15 and got his learner’s permit this year. Actually, he, like his sister, is a pretty good driver. Doug
is into Wii and PS2 lately with Guitar Hero and Rock Band taking the center stage. Actually, Doug sings very well and entered a local talent contest
and he sings in his school chorus. He recently sang the part of Phantom in an Andrew Lloyd Webber medley for the school.
Emily is next at 17 (soon to be 18 in January). She is still the great over-achiever taking all kinds of honor classes and applying to colleges.
She plans to major in aerospace engineering and stays very busy with her studies when she is not running around town with her posse.
Jane has found a new love, springer spaniel rescue. She is very active on the rescue news group and has rescued several dogs this year to help them find a home.
Ted is still working at the State of
Overall, we are staying healthy and happy in the heart of
and make trips to see the family and other various places around the country.
We wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season and best wishes for 2009!
Doug, Emily, Jane and Ted
